Voter ID in the Senate

The state senate is taking up Voter ID right now.

They've also got the minimum wage pre-emption bill on the agenda for today.

UPDATE - Senate Democrats objected to a third reading. A 2/3 vote is required to overcome that, and the Republicans didn't have it, so it will be May 31 at the earliest before they can take the final vote.

They did make one change to the bill, so the Assembly will also have to take it up again.

This means the issue stays alive.
