Calling Dave Obey constituents

DRUDGE REPORT FLASH 2005

It seems balancing out PBS into something somewhat representative of the present US political landscape is "illegal" according to good ol Dave Obey.

In a letter released Wednesday evening, Rep. David Obey, D-Wis., and Rep. John D. Dingell, D-Mich., asked CPB Inspector General Kenneth A. Konz to investigate the contracting, hiring and policies of the corporation, which distributes federal funds to public television stations. Both congressmen are ranking Democrats on committees that have oversight of public television.

I'm curious as to where they have been for the last few decades, when public news shows have been overwhelmingly liberal, or is their real contention that conservatism is a crime?

Tomlinson defended his efforts to expand conservative perspectives on PBS, saying he merely wants to increase the network's audience.

Seems to make sense, since the house, senate, and executive branch are all help by conservatives of one form or another that Mr. Tomlinson would want to appeal to the folks that put these people in office.
