Obama Aide Meets With I'm A Nutjob

We have a good look at what President Obama's foreign policy will look like. And yes, I said President Obama because there's just no way He loses after this past week. No way. Mark it down. Book it. It's a slam-dunk.

From Amanda Carpenter at Townhall.com comes the revelation that one of Barack Hussein Obama's top fundraisers, a Code Pinko co-founder,met with Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (pronounced "I'm A Nutjob).

Jodi Evans, a founder of the radical anti-war group Code Pink and "bundler" for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Wednesday.

“It’s rare for a head of state to take time during an official U.N. visit to meet with the peace community, especially in a situation where the host government—represented by the Bush administration—is so hostile,” Evans said in a statement. “The fact that the meeting took place and was so positive is, in itself, a major step forward.”

During the Democratic primary Obama came under fire from both his Democratic and Republican foes for promising to meet with Ahmadinejad “without preconditions” if he became president.

Evans signed on to become a “bundler” for Obama’s presidential campaign last June. As a bundler, she has pledged to raise at least $50,000 for his campaign.

Just a reminder of what Our Savior said during the primary campaign: that He'd meet with I'm A Nutjob without any preconditions.

A real insight to what the Blame America First crowd will do in dealing with our enemies. We're the bad guys and we have to find out why they don't like us.

Bringing the elementary school approach of conflict resolution to international politics. This type of naivete is going to get tens of thousands if not more Americans killed.

It reminds me of the unpopular kid in school that no one likes who thinks if he could just sit down with the people who don't like him and talk to them he could make them like and accept him. Probably had the imaginary conversation in his head as to what he'd say, what they'd say, etc. Then when he tries, the other kids laugh at him and continue to mistreat him.

And he wonders why no one respects him.

Fact is, no one respects weakness. And no matter who tries to ask the question "What harm does it do to talk?" it's an easy answer. Talking to jihadists is a sign of weakness. I'm A Nutjob is a Holocaust denier who has threatened to wipe Israel off the map then come for America. He's made pacts with America's primary enemy in this hemisphere, Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez.

You don't talk to these people. Period. You defeat them by any means necessary.

More Palin-As-A-Pig Smears

Cross-posted at THEB.

This is far beyond a metaphor. More like unhinged personal attacks right out of the sewer.

Fox Head tells us the Drive By Media weighs in with a political cartoon depicting Sarah Palin as a pig with lipstick. Palin can take her place alongside the likes of Condoleeza Rice and Michael Steele, who have been smeared by the racists, sexists and bigots on the Left.

Imagine the outrage if a cartoonist or a blogger with Photoshop depicted Barack Hussein Obama as a monkey.

You stay classy, liberals.

The Palin Effect

The Drive By Media takes it on the chin in a pair of cartoons courtesy of Townhall.com.

First, Gary Varvel sticks it to both Chris Matthews of Screwball and the laughably partisan hack David Gregory:

And Eric Allie shows the likely effect of Palin Power on Matthews:

This is the first time I have ever been proud of my country...

Sniffle... Sniffle...

This is the first time I have ever been proud of my country-

John McCain has overtaken Barack Obama in the presidential race, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released Wednesday morning.

Frankly, I am not surprised. The more that people get to know Obama the worse his poll numbers get.

Perhaps most startlingly to Democrats, Reuters/Zogby measures that McCain is seen as the better manager of the economy, by a margin of 49 percent to 40 percent over Obama. In that poll half of voters cited the economy as the most important issue, as other surveys have as well.

I know the liberals believe that the drilling debate is helping them. As long as they can continue to blame the oil companies instead of their own policies, they feel they can win this with the American people. That is a bunch of hooey.

The idea that we have oil in ground, right here in the US, that the government will not allow us to drill, is infuriating to most Americans.

PS. I am being factious when it comes to this being the first time I have been proud of my country. See Michelle Obama for an explanation.

Tip For Obama

Barack Obama says he won't question his opponent's patriotism. Hey, that's a great idea! Pure genius.

I've got another great idea: don't question your opponent's experience or qualifications, either.

That way you can really avoid uncomfortable moments. Besides, wouldn't it be like the pot calling the kettle, well, green?

What's All That Racket?

In case you were wondering what all that noise is about, it's Florida and Michigan clapping because they believe in fairytales.

I hear all the time from people in Florida and Michigan that they want their voices heard in selecting the Democratic nominee.

Check the date on her statement. She's been harping at this for a long time.

Re: Re: Drinking The Good Kool-Aid

That saying is not as certain as one thinks it is. I hardly doubt any nation will come out openly and take responsibility for such an act. That is the out, they can talk tough but when it comes time to be tough there will be all sorts of "buts".

If you're a liberal you've always got to leave that door open, just in case you need to stick your fingers in your ears and sing "lalalala."

And, there's always the global consent card. That's a good one to play when it's too tough to actually do anything.

Florida and Michigan

With the Democrat party's primary playing out as it has do you think the residents of Michigan and Florida ought to feel slighted for not being part of the nomination process?

At this point, the rest of the country is probably looking at them with a certain amount of envy. If only the other 56 states had taken their cues from these two...

Drinking The Good Kool-Aid

My dad recently went on a cruise with one of our hyper-liberal family members. This is the guy who prepares speeches for gatherings, to try and bring everyone else around to his way of thinking. I'm not kidding, I've seen his notebooks!

Anyway, at dinner one night our liberal friend got a little unsober and started spouting off loudly. My dad tells me that he shouted something to the effect: "if we do get nuked and we know what country the nukes came from, we better damn well have a president who would push the button! "

I agree. We'd better at least elect a president who's willing to put his finger on the button, look around and ask "isn't anyone gonna try to stop me?"

But, this guy can't say a republican's name without convulsing violently, so he wasn't referring to John McCain.

Was it Obama? We all know that Obama would retaliate by sending cupcakes shaped like little mushroom clouds.

Hillary? She wouldn't nuke anybody, would she? Yeah, sure, she said she would. But, nobody actually BELIEVED that baloney, did they?

One person did, I guess. It's too bad she won't be needing a running mate.
