RE: Specter Caves
Earlier Peter had a post (see below) on his thought on Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter bowing to Senate Judiciary Democratic demands for a new hearing on White House legal staffer Brett Kavanaugh.
For those unsure why the Democratic cries about Kavanaugh, it deals with two things.
1) They (I mean WI's own Senator Ego himself, Russ Feingold) want to scream about the 'domestic wiretapping' programming to appease the Kos-ites.
2) Whitewater. Kavanaugh's boss before going to the White House was Ken Starr.
The Hildabeast is still not over it, and using whatever tools she has to her advantage.
But I will say, without the second hearing, we never could have found out this about the sudden change is Kavanaugh's ABA rating. (Via the Washington Times)
Though you do have to question why a divorce attorney in general is doing ABA interviews. Mr. Hagedorn, you're the resident attorney now. Care to enlighten us lay people?

Washington divorce lawyer Marna S. Tucker, a registered Democrat, conducted the most recent interview of Mr. Kavanaugh and delivered testimony on behalf of the ABA over the telephone yesterday for the Judiciary Committee hearing today.Dirty tricks know no bounds.
Ms. Tucker has donated more than $10,000 to Democratic candidates and causes, according to Federal Election Commission records at www.politicalmoneyline.com, a Web site that tracks campaign contributions. She has never given to Republicans, according to the site.
The Washington Post described her as a "prominent liberal" in 1991 and the following year noted her friendship with Hillary Rodham Clinton, now a Democratic senator from New York.
Ms. Tucker also is a founding member and board director of the National Women's Law Center, an organization committed to abortion rights and other liberal causes.
