If we wanted to be really, really mean to the Mayor of Milwaukee, we could starting bringing up all of his Congressional votes on actual "Double Taxation."
You know things like the repeal of the Death Tax and repeals on the taxes on Dividends and Capital Gains.
Can't help but smell the big time hypocrisy on this one here.
UPDATE - Also, when will WEAC bring Barrett behind the woodshed for even considering this idea? The $800,000 he's claiming the city of Milwaukee will save taxpayers is money that Doyle borrowed from the transportation fund after all to pay off Stan Johnson and company. All of here know that the transportation fund is paid for by (drum roll please)...gasoline taxes.
If the "Great Schools" brigade and editorial boards in the state hated it when Republicans brought it up, what are they going to do now that a Democrat has?
