According to reports from the Houston Chronicle, Houston Astros manager Phil Garner asked Astros pitcher Roy Oswalt to fill in for injured New York Mets All-Star Pedro Martinez. Oswalt will give his decision to Garner today.

Oswalt, a 20-game winner the last two seasons, is 6-5 with a 3.10 ERA and 80 strikeouts. Capuano is 10-4 with a 3.21 ERA and 112 strikeouts.
Martinez is 7-4 with a 3.45 ERA and 111 strikeouts.
