RE: Doyle's Left Flank
Lance - I've been seeing the same thing in some circles of Democrats I talk to on occasion (when I can change them from spit-flinging Bush hatred to state politics) when the subject of Governor Jim Doyle, a wholly-owned subsidiary of WEAC, comes up.
I find the thinking comes into three distinct modes:

- The Garvey-ites: They are like "We elected a Democrat, right?" Usually are big Lautenschlager supporters.
- The Pragmatists: Die-hard WEACers who are just happy the guy in the Governor's Mansion has a "D" after his name.
- The Lifers: The people who would vote for a Democrat simply because he/she's a Democrat. The type of person who would vote for a child molester versus a boy scout because the child molester has a "D" after his name. Sadly, these type exist on both sides of the aisle.
I'm not convinced by the idea that there will be a Democratic primary challenge to Doyle. The real battles going to be inside the party if Falk enters the AG race at Doyle's behest.
