Blair to Win...Barely Update
Not looking good at all for him.
Sky News, Fox News British sister station, is projecting a 64-seat win. Big Night for the Tories.
While parts of me are really happy about Tory victory, this may not be as good as it seems. They've been directionless for almost a decade, and the inter-fighting between Labour as they likely give Blair the Thatcher treatment will be all the talk now.
Only one thing is certain - bad night for the ultra-left wing Liberal Democrats. I'm calling this karma for going after Islamofascists.
The Tories, the conservative party, in order to make itself THE party again in Britain, must return its conservative roots. They can't win as "New Labour Lite." They must be the small government party once more. I'm not sure Michael Howard, their leader, gives that to them.
Then again, I want another Thatcher, so I could be just picky.
