Marquette Gold? WTF?

Oh my!

I was about to stub our collective toe on another PC protected species but caught myself!

Anyway WTF? Perhaps, these guys in Marquette are not too dumb. Ten years from now there will be a campaign to revert to the old name, the old name being Eagles. At least the eagles are a tough bird, gold is a soft metal. At least gold is more valuable/desirable than an orange.
