Today is election day. A day which many will ignore because of their busy lives or because they only vote in Presidential elections. If this is you, let me implore you to get out and vote today!
This is a very important election, one which will set the tone for Wisconsin for the next four years!
For all those conservatives that are concerned about the direction of the Schools in Wisconsin, tired of the social agendas being pushed onto our children and wasteful spending, here is your chance to do something about it!
Burmaster and Underheim square off in the April 5 general election with the winner running the Department of Public Instruction for a four-year term.
Greg Underheim lays out his platform for change:
- Reform the way we buy health care for teachers
- Institute “W3”, a What Works in Wisconsin program
- Keep the QEO and caps in place
- Use technology more effectively to produce higher quality and lower cost
- Positive toward the choice options in Wisconsin
- Prepare students in math and science to meet the competition
It is time for those concerned about these issues to get out and VOTE!
By my count, Burmaster won by approximately 150,000 votes in 2001. We need every conservative, libertarian and democrat that is interested in holding the line on spending and the other social issues that effect the schools to get active today and VOTE!
