Help Me Out Here

Can someone tell me what Hillary Clinton's key demographic is?

I have yet to run into anyone who's a strong Hillary supporter. Men don't seem to like her much and the younger voters clearly gravitate to Obama.

Are there really that many bitter old maids in this country?

So Clinton was the big winner last night...

...picking up wins in Texas, Ohio, and Rhode Island, while Obama got Vermont.

Despite that, Clinton only picked up a net 23 delegates - Obama still leads by 134 (according to this count). Including those Superdelegates who've committed themselves, Obama leads by 95.

And the number of delegates yet to be won is dwindling fast. Only 743 regular delegates (there are 3,253 of them, total), and 352 Superdelegates.

So this thing is still a tossup, and that doesn't even take the possibility of do-overs in Michigan and Florida into account.

But, for now, Obama's momentum seems to have stopped. The tide may have turned in Clinton's favor. I'm on record thinking that's a good thing: putting somebody with Obama's lack of experience in the White House? Not smart.

And yet, I'm torn. If the Democrats nominate Obama, think of the blogging! The sheer volume of mockery! I've got half a column written in my head already, and lemme tell ya, it's a good one!

I Could've Looked So Smart...

... if I'd predicted at the BBA Christmas party that Hillary would cry for the TV cameras.

For some reason, I thought that was too small of a prediction. Part of me assumed half of the suggestions were going to say it.

I'm kicking myself!

So, the Clinton Campaign Had a Hostage Crisis?

Allow me to be the first to wonder out loud if the Hillary machine is behind it. Not that I actually believe it (yet), but the comment is justified by the following:
  1. Given the Clinton history, you can't rule anything out.
  2. "Halliburton." (see also: "cronies")
  3. "Bush lied."
  4. "On 9-11 the planes were flown by remote control."
  5. "Selected, not elected."
  6. "What did he know, and when did he know it?"
  7. "No war for oil!"
I figure one (or more) good conspiracy theory deserves another.

So who was Bobby & Janice?

Jib is letting me post here while we put a new roof on the ol' blog site. Let's give credit where credit is due. Hillary Clinton has a great video out there promoting her new campaign song, although it does raise some troubling questions.

For example, does this mean Vince Foster was the Russian from the Pine Barrens episode?

Was Dick Morris really Silvio Dante?

Who's interning at the porno movie studio?

Does Hillary really want to be compared to Carmela Soprano?

When was the last time Bill Clinton did peyote with a hooker in Las Vegas?
