Skipped over to Alderwoman Kathy's and had another look at GOPgal's post on the Newt-sponsored petition to open up drilling on proven reserves in the US.

It reminds me of the love-hate relationship I've had with Newt, which reminds me of the love-hate relationship I've had with Bill Clinton - both charming, well-spoken philanderers with good ideas. Supporting them is painful and risky, given their character flaws.

Anywho, sign the petition today. I've got to fill up the tank again this week - she's the new Nissan Versa, but she only gets 32 to 36 mpg - and I'd like to be able to afford macaroni and cheese again.
