Ron Kind vs. Paul Nelson 3rd Congressional Race

Over at OnTheBorderLine we have some extremely good insight into the 3rd Congressional race. We know the scorecard of Ron Kind by the American Conservative Union, (F). The post and the following comments clearly distinguish between the platforms and positions of the lifelong politician (Kind) and for the most part, a conservative entrepreneur, (Paul Nelson), except for one issue, ETHANOL!

So we not only learn about the candidates but also the reasoning we would/should support a candidate. At what point do we distinguish that we should support “anybody but Kind”, or an apposing candidate on his own merit? It is a enigma that we all have to struggle with. Should we sacrifice something we believe in strongly because someone is the less of two evils? It is the RINO syndrome that is being explored here.
