Budget Blather...
...for lack of a better title.
I got interviewed last week about the President's budget (story link here, additional details here).
While scrambling to answer the reporter's questions and follow-up questions, I found a really interesting document on the Office of Management and Budget website - the whole thing is 347 pages, but check out pages 25 and 26 - a chart, showing federal revenues and spending all the way back to 1789.
Cool.
Found something else today - this column by Phil Kerpen. Puts some of the overall budget numbers in very uncomfortable perspective.
By the way, the article was written by my friend Ben Bromley, a fair columnist in his own right and a very highly above-average softball player.
