Wendy has done a nice job of highlighting what we can do here in Eastern Wisconsin. For those of you in Western Wisconsin, it looks like evacuees will not be placed in your part of the state, but they will be placed in Minnesota. For those of you in the Western part of the state, you may want to look at what you can do to support the United Way of Central Minnesota. Evacuees are going to head into the Twin Cities and St. Cloud first, and then head off to Camp Ripley. This article at the Minneapolis Star Tribune gives some details of where you can drop off supplies if you will be in the Twin Cities. If you cannot make it to the Twin Cities, you should be able to contact various United Way entities in Minnesota to contribute.
