Antigo cheesemaker judged nation's best

The best cheese in the United States is a nutty, sweet-flavored wheel of Parmesan made at a plant in Antigo.

John Griffiths of Sartori Food Corp. made what was judged Thursday to be the best cheese in America, rising above 59 other gold- medal winners and a record 1,360 entries at the United States Championship Cheese Contest in the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay.
You'd think he'd be sending some samples to the BBA (headquartered in Baraboo!). Y'know, just to promote his victory.
