The family's identity is secret, but Veridian Homes of Madison is organizing a work crew to tear down the existing home and build a new one in four days.
Although the identities of the five finalist families haven't been revealed, ABC staffers interviewed the Sue Klang family of Cazenovia in May. They also videotaped and interviewed faculty, staff and students in the Weston School District. Klang is the widow of John Klang, former Weston High School principal who was murdered while trying to disarm a student in 2006.I wrote about Mr. Klang here. Since I don't know who any of the other potential finalists are, I won't hope the Klangs get it.
But, geez, I hope they get it.
