Last thought on the NCAA Tournament

Kansas won the championship in overtime last night after tying the game with a last-second shot that was possible only because Memphis missed 4 of its last 5 free throws.

That was a close one.

Kansas got to the championship game by beating North Carolina with relative ease.

That wasn't a close one.

But Kansas got to that game only when a last-second three-pointer by comparatively tiny Davidson University went wide.

That was a close one.

So the great unanswered question is: how good was Davidson?
