Dohnal response to Patrick's post
Since the school choice deal is the searing white hot topic of the day, I'm going to move Bob Dohnal's comment on Patrick's post to the main page here so everyone gets a chance to see it.
there are evral parts of that compromise that need a thorough airng. One is why we are going to spend 25 million dollars on a worthelss program like SAGE. Two, it is the stated goal of the teachers to regulate the CHOICE schools out of business. by accrediataion and tesing. finally the constituents of Tom Reynoilds in Milwaukee have a very clear problem in voling funding that the GOP has tried to remedy in the past.
Tom is bringing al of these things out for debate.
Remever, whenever special interest go into a romm they usually bring out a deal that they then hand the bill to the taxpayers.
This deal is a great victory for the teachers and Doyle.
tom is firmly interested in CHOICE for the whole state, but wants to make sure that all parts of this deal are public and debated.
Doyle and Gard are not two kings who can make a deal that costs the taxpayers millions of dollars without proper debate.
I am not a spokeman for Tom, but have interviewed him for the Conservativ Digest.
