Hillary, Wal-Mart, and Feingold
Interesting (via Jonah at NRO):
Unless, of course, he's really just running for Veep, in which case he's probably not eager to find out these things.
Hillary's rejection of a Walmart donation raises all sorts of interesting questions and issues. You'd think the bourgeoning anti-Hillary left would make more of the fact that she served on Walmart's board for most of the 80s through 1992. I just don't know enough about the company, but it would be interesting to know if the business practices so unpopular on the left today are all that different from when she was on the board. If they aren't, did Hillary ever object when she could have done some good? Did she ever push Walmart to be more family friendly? To allow unions? To be more diverse? If I were Russ Feingold, I'd be eager to find out these things.
