When is a fountain a pool, part two
The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram takes up the story of the fountain in Chippewa Falls which the state determined to be a pool. I'm usually quite fond of the Leader-Telegram, but given that they are a competitor of the Chippewa Herald, the paper that broke this story, I'm disappointed to see that they have apparently taken the state's side. My guess is that this was done in the name of competition, which is a bit disappointing even though it is not surprising.
If anyone would like to make a comparison between state water fountains, here is the fountain at the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee, and here is the fountain in Chippewa Falls.
