Feingold runs, gets chosen Veep, resigns from the Senate in order to run. Tammy Baldwin wins the Dem nomination to replace him, then finds out the rest of the state isn't nearly as liberal as Madison is. She loses, we get a Republican in the Senate and maybe in the 2nd Congressional District, too.
