So, what does this mean to Feingold's chances in 2008 (does Althouse talk about that? I haven't clicked over there yet)?
I'm not so sure it's as damaging as the pundits are going to make it out to be. There are just too many divorced people nowadays - it's not something we sweep under the rug anymore.
I don't believe Feingold is looking for the Big Chair, anyway. I think he's angling for the Veep slot. With Wisconsin set to be a battleground again (heaven help us all), he should at least get a good long look.
UPDATE - Okay, I read Althouse, who cites Larry Sabato. Sabato has certainly been around longer than me, so I'll defer to him for now. I still stand by what I said earlier, though. Dean's comment (first comment) said the same thing.
