Aaaah! Nature! I got nature all over me!

Look what we found in the yard the other day:



Yep, that's a deer. Bedding down in the twelve feet or so between my house and the neighbor's.



Not the first time we've had deer in our yard. Two years ago, day after Thanksgiving, we found four of them bedding down in the back. Trying to avoid all the hunters. And that's after we hunted all opening weekend and saw bupkus.

Also: yes, we are exactly the kind of rednecks who leave the Christmas wreath up even into May.



And now we're gonna hafta leave it longer:



At least long enough for those guys to be more than just a mouthful.
