"Filled to the Brim with Awesome."

That's how Jim Geraghty is describing the stimulus bill, and he's got examples of exactly that awesomeness.

Funny how most of those examples seem to pad the budgets of government agencies. Or...no, I guess that isn't funny. Or even unexpected.

Here's my favorite of his examples:

An additional $50 million to the National Endowment for the Arts "to be distributed in direct grants to fund arts projects and activities which preserve jobs in the non-profit arts sector threatened by declines in philanthropic and other support during the current economic downturn."

Shoulda listened to my mother and been an artist.
