Latest National Journal Governors' Race Rankings

National Journal, producers of Hotline and other nice toys for political junkies, updated its ranking for the 36 Governors Races this year.

Just like it's previous ranking, the WI Governor's Race is #9.

In Wisconsin, what passes for a "scandal" is simply called "another day" in most states. Wisconsin's press corps holds its elected officials to a higher level of scrutiny than perhaps any other state press corps in the country. Because of that, Doyle's nabbed some bad headlines. And if you weren't sure who was ahead on the GOP side, just know that Walker's been the aggressor in pointing out Green's supposedly awful past (i.e., his service in D.C. as a – gasp – Congressman). Green must be ahead!

Yeah, I did a spit take on that line about the state's press corps too.
