Post Crescent: Democrats’ tax plan more hype than hope

I wrote about the "HOPE" proposal last week (permalink here) - this is the Democrat proposal to give homeowners a big cut in property taxes, by shifting those taxes to other sources.

My take: it's just a political ploy, not a real policy proposal.

The Appleton Post Crescent doesn't quite reach that conclusion, but they've come out against it.
